Starting off playing for a boys team at a young age, Clare Polkinghorne, has built an extraordinary career for herself. Since her first appearance with the Matildas in 2006, she’s played in four World Cups and plans to play in her fifth in 2023.

Polkinghorne has also appeared in the W-League over 100 times playing for her team, Brisbane Roar FC. In her time at the Brisbane Roar, the team has won two Westfield W-League Premierships and two Championships.
