THE FIRST FIRST NATIONS WOMAN TO REPRESENT AUSTRALIA AT THE WOMEN’S WORLD CUP
Kayleen Janssen was born in 1968 in Brisbane. She has represented Australia in both Indoor an Outdoor soccer. She first represented Australia as an indoor player in 1988. She went on to play for Queensland from 1989 to 1995. During the time she also made the Matildas side in 1991 playing against New Zealand. By the end of 1995, Janssen had represented Australia 37 times. She has a record of 26 international caps.
